We care about your privacy—but also, we use cookies, analytics, and affiliate links like every other half-functioning website in 2025. Here’s the full scoop:

Who We Are

We’re The Monthly Hustle, a content-first brand documenting the chaotic journey from $1 to $100K. Our site lives at: https://themonthlyhustle.com.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, your IP address, and browser user agent string to help us detect spam.

If you use Gravatar, an anonymized string (hash) of your email may be sent to check for an avatar. Gravatar’s privacy policy is here. Once your comment is approved, your profile pic is visible to the public next to your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the site, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract that info if it’s there. Don’t let strangers track you. That’s weird.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you can opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies—just to save you some typing next time. These last for a year.

If you log in to the site (if enabled), we’ll set up cookies for login and screen preferences. Login cookies last two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember Me.” When you log out, those cookies are cleared.

If you edit or publish content, another cookie will save the post ID. No personal info here—just to help the editor. It expires in 1 day.

Embedded Content

Articles on this site may include embedded content (like YouTube videos, social posts, or widgets). These behave like you visited the other site directly, which means they might collect data, use cookies, or track your interaction.

So yeah—YouTube might know you watched that productivity video 3 times.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Other than that, we don’t sell or share your data with third parties unless it’s required to make the site work (see below).

Affiliate Links + Tracking

We use affiliate links throughout the site to earn commissions from products we actually use and love. These are managed via ThirstyAffiliates, and many of them are cloaked (like /go/toolname) for cleanliness—not sneakiness.

We also use cookies and tracking pixels (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook, ConvertKit) to:

  • See what pages people like
  • Track affiliate referrals
  • Run email automations
  • Improve the experience

By using the site, you’re cool with this. If not, browser extensions like uBlock Origin are your friend.

Data Retention

If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are kept indefinitely. That way, follow-up comments can be approved faster.

If you register for the site (if we ever enable it), your data is stored in your user profile. You can view, edit, or delete it anytime—except usernames. Admins can edit everything too.

What Rights You Have

If you have an account, left a comment, or subscribed, you can request a copy of the data we hold about you—or ask us to erase it. We’ll delete what we legally can, but we might need to keep some info for admin, legal, or security reasons.

To make a request, hit us up at monthlyhustle@gmail.com.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Thanks for trusting us. We’ll protect your data like it’s ours and only use it to build cool things and improve the chaos.
